Hybrid Dominators are rare but extremely annoying enemies. They have high hitpoints, very high shields, moderate damage, and two extremely dangerous spells. They tend to appear in groups, with an especially large group guarding the [[Hybrid General]], and because they can chain their spells together they can very easily kill any of the less-durable heroes.

All heroes have certain ways of dealing with the hybrid dorminators. The key to dealing with them overall, is to make sure they're hitting targets like The predator or a Planetary fortress, and then just nuke it down. In groups, its adviceable to eat the lifts with more than one person quickly, so everyone can focus on bursting them down.
Three heroes are appropriately equipped to deal with Hybrid Dominators.

Nova can either chose to abuse snipes against them later on, or simply eat the lifts and then proceed to burst them down.
Nova has the disadvantages when fighting Dominators that her Combat Drones can be destroyed by the Shockwaves, and that if she is caught in a lift chain she will melt. However, she has the advantage that [[Snipe]] significantly outranges the Hybrids, and with a few talents and masteries allows Nova to cut through the Dominators' large health and shield pools.

Predator is durable enough that it doesn't care about being lifted or shockwaved. It cannot tank other enemies while it is lifted, and this can be bad for allies, but it also will never be damaged itself by the Hybrids. [[Sun God Mastery]], [[Irradiate]], and [[Bug Zapper]] if you have it will slowly burn down the attacking Hybrids, but it's really best to just get your allies to kill the hybrids while they're distracted.

Since the Anvil is immune to both their special attacks, he can simply wait till they hit a PF/pred and nuke them down.
Major Anvil is uniquely immune to the two disruptive spells of the Hybrid Dominators, and so while Predator doesn't care about being lifted, Anvil simply does not get lifted. The hybrids hit hard enough that a group of them can focus down Anvil if he is not careful, and they are durable enough that an Anvil will not win a straight fight against them, but as long as Anvil has something to stand between him and the hybrids, he can smash down the hybrids with impunity.

Tychus: All tychus has to do it to just stand and gun them down and use storms/grenades on CD. If there's a big group of them and a predator/odin has aggro on them, using flaming betty for its insane AOE is very adviceable.

Swann: Swann simply just puts up 3-4 Hellfire turrets and target fires the hybrids down without ever being in danger of them.

Tassadar : With the range mastery, tassadar can easily avoid its shockwave, and with his massive healthpool, lifts hardly does anything to him. As long as he engages them with PF'S/bunkers next to him for Acendance, they will go down quickly even if he's in the air.
